Eve Online developer, CCP Games, has rebranded to ‘Fenris Creations’, following its sale from Crimson Desert creator, Pearl Abyss. The Icelandic company was acquired by Pearl Abyss for $225 million in 2018, but sold back to its management last week in a $120 Million deal.In a statement, Fenris said it’s returning to a model similar to how it operated before 2018, governed by its own Board of Directors, and claimed there will be no restructuring or layoffs. The company’s headquarters will remain in Vatnsmýrin, Iceland, and its studios in Reykjavík, London, and Shanghai will continue to operate as normal.“Fenris Creations will continue…
Hugh Jackman had the perfect response when asked if he's in Avengers: Doomsday – and I still don't believe him
Rumors have been swirling around Hugh Jackman’s potential appearance in Avengers: Doomsday ever since the actor returned as Wolverine in Deadpool 3. His name was notably omitted from the official cast list reveal, but that has never stopped us wondering if he could still make an appearance, especially given so many of his X-Men co-stars are set to star.Jackman has been keeping tight-lipped on the possibility, but his latest answer has me wondering if he could be coming back after all. During the press tour for his new movie The Sheep Detectives (which has pretty great reviews, by the way),…
As well as adding all of Hades 1 into Hades 2, the Zagreus' Journey mod now brings new boons, story beats, and more
When Mark wrote about Zagreus’ Journey back in December, the mod was already well on its way to completing its main goal: putting all of the original Hades into Hades 2. In the months since, modder Nikkel Mollenhauer has gone way beyond that target. The mod has officially hit 1.0 and it’s added new story beats, boons, and a tonne of new cosmetics to pretty up your lair. In a very official looking new trailer, you can see the scope of what Mollenhauer’s achieved.
Age of Empires 4 DLC has been pretty hit-and-miss over the years. The Sultans Ascend, despite being the oldest of the three currently available expansions, is by far the strongest, bringing with it a new campaign and entirely new civilizations. Since then, co-developers Relic Entertainment and World’s Edge have mainly defaulted to repackaging existing civs, releasing variants that have left many less than pleased. AoE 4’s latest content drop, Yue Fei’s Legacy, launches today, and it brings with it a brand new civ, the Jin Dynasty, and a full-fledged campaign that’ll help you get to know them a little better.…
The coming-of-age genre is one that’s well explored in film. Every generation has its own pantheon of classics that manage to say in two hours what all teenagers have felt at one point during the best and most tumultuous parts of most people’s lives.Mixtape, the latest from Beethoven & Dinosaur, may just be the best example of that genre in the video game space, and one of 2026’s must-experience games.Mixtape succeeds because it captures how impossibly massive and important it feels to be 17. The game follows three teenagers at the end of the 90s in a small town in…
One of the most commonly out-of-stock Legend of Zelda amiibo is down to a record low price at Woot
During my daily hunt for deals on the best Nintendo Switch 2 accessories, I stumbled upon the best sight a collector and Legend of Zelda fan can behold, a discounted amiibo. The stunning collectible that sees Zelda and her Lofting as seen in Skyward Sword HD is normally $39.99 at full price, which is a lot to pay when so many other Legend of Zelda amiibo are typically found for $19.99 instead. However, the saving I found sees the toys-to-life figure as low as $21.70 (Woot), which marks the lowest I’ve spotted for it so far. There’s only 12 days left…
Will: Follow the Light review – a pretty Arctic adventure, but tedious puzzles leave it lost at sea
Will: Follow the Light reviewIt’s got some nice Scandi vistas and quality sailing, but Will: Follow the Light’s sense of adventure is blunted by dull puzzle structures, questionable storytelling, and a general lack of polish. Developer: TomorrowHead Studio Publisher: TomorrowHead Studio Release: May 7th 2026 On: Windows From: Steam, Epic Games Store Price: TBA Reviewed on: Intel Core i9-10900K, 32GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 3090, Windows 10; Steam Deck Will: Follow the Light is a cracking videogame name. Especially when it fades in after a few trailer shots of first-person striding across frozen wastelands and carving a wave-battered yacht through stormy…
If simply collecting cards is getting a little dull and repetitive, you’ll want to start redeeming these Anime Card Battle X codes instead. On top of free packs with potentially boosted rare rates, these codes might just increase the power of an already stellar staple in your deck. Anime Card Battle X is a reminder that most card games aren’t just for stuffing into a binder to hopefully sell on for a tidy profit later down the line: they’re deep, complex strategy games designed to test the brains of two opposing players. And while this one lets you duke it…
A surprise new mode has been added to Halo Infinite, suggesting updates for the game aren’t quite finished yet.Firefight: Gauntlet is a variation on the existing Firefight mode, and puts players in a series of five PvE arenas filled with enemies and bosses. The mode appears to have roguelike elements, with players able to upgrade their stats and their weapons between rounds“This deviously difficult PvE mode introduces upgradeable attributes, elimination objectives, and auto-scaled difficulty settings to a boss-filled Firefight experience designed to challenge even the toughest Spartans,” the mode’s official description reads.“Bring your mightiest warriors, because each phase of the Gauntlet…
You don't need more RAM; a YouTube bug is just making it seem like you do by eating up 7GB or more of your PC's memory
If you’ve been experiencing slowdowns and stutters on your gaming PC in the last week or two, you may be getting increasingly frustrated and thinking, “maybe it’s finally time to upgrade my RAM”. Please, please, don’t jump straight to that just yet, because it turns out that if you’ve had even one YouTube tab open, the website could be eating up 7GB or more of your existing memory and causing some big performance dips.Especially amidst the current RAM shortages, when the best RAM for gaming can set you back more than a new CPU, you might be happy to learn…
