Director of zombie horror We Bury the Dead admits that the "last thing" he added to the script were the zombies: "You better have something new to say, or get out of here"
On paper, new horror movie We Bury the Dead is a zombie movie; it’s big on post-apocalyptic vibes, as it charts a woman’s desperate search for her husband after an experimental weapon is detonated in Tasmania and turns locals into violent, walking corpses. Its moving, melancholic focus on the brain-chomper’s cut-short time, though, feels more in-keeping with a ghost flick. It’s not a big surprise to learn, then, that the final thing writer-director Zak Hilditch added to the script were the undead.”I had no business ever making a zombie movie,” he candidly tells GamesRadar+ ahead of the film’s UK release. “I…
This week in PC games: is Highguard a nothingburger? Plus, Winnie the Cthulhooh, Code Vein 2 and a plant-based RTS
Mawning all and happy new week to the sickos who celebrate the return of Monday. It’s time for another helping of cosmic despair as we slide irresistibly down the Gullet of Entropy, pawing in vain at the Tonsils of Hubris. Also, some new PC game releases. Maybe save your pennies for Wednesday and Thursday, which are uncommonly rammed.
What is the best gaming projector? A gaming projector can provide a huge and immersive picture without you having to invest in a giant TV or monitor. Unlike purely home cinema projectors, projectors for gaming need to have a low input lag (we recommend under 30 milliseconds) to keep gameplay smooth and your responses fast with the best PC games. Our pick for the best gaming projector overall right now is the Valerion VisionMaster Pro2, thanks to its crisp 4K resolution, up to 240Hz refresh rate, fantastic image quality, and low input lag. A slightly more affordable option is the…

Lorwyn Eclipsed is an all-timer Magic: The Gathering set, but these are the cards I'm most excited to try out
If you’d asked any Magic: The Gathering player five years ago about the chance for a return to Lorwyn, and they’d likely have said we’d be more likely to see Optimus Prime. Though the original Lorwyn block was lacklustre at best, the Celtic fantasy vibes of the world quickly cemented it as a fan-favourite.Finally, almost 20 years later, we’re back in Lorwyn Eclipsed, and there are a few standout cards I’m definitely going to be keeping an eye out when ripping into boosters. If you’re a fan of the series or enjoy partaking in the best card games, these are…
A ton of cut Baldur's Gate 3 early access encounters, including over 100 chats, have been resurrected by a modder
Baldur’s Gate 3’s shift from early access to full release came with heap of tweaks and changes as Larian finalised their huge RPG. Naturally, this meant certain bits or plans not making it into the final cut, and if you’ve come to long for any of those after playing them initially or hearing about them, then odds are a new mod is right up your alley. It’s also really cool if you, you know, just want more BG3.

Resident Evil 8: Village is filled with puzzles that just might have you stumped as you try to make your way through the game. A puzzle or two is to be expected, but some of the brainteasers Resident Evil Village sends your way might feel a bit too obtuse or confusing.Case in point is the Mia Doll puzzle you’ll find inside House Beneviento, one where Ethan has to – quite morbidly – examine a mannequin that looks strikingly like his missing wife. Inside the mannequin, you’ll find items that’ll help you to explore the Doll Workshop and, eventually, make your…
Arc Raiders' Headwinds update lands tomorrow, and fan theories we're getting 4-player squads aren't landing well with everyone: "They'd need to significantly increase loot spawns"
The Headwinds update arrives to Arc Raiders very soon – tomorrow, in fact – and not only does the latest tease give us the release date, it suggests a much-requested feature is coming too. You may finally be able to head in a formal team of up to four, rather than working as more informal allies.Indeed, the official Arc Raiders social media accounts have posted that Headwind goes live on January 27. Besides that neat little bit of loot, there’s an image, containing one raider facing three others, except the encounter doesn’t seem adversarial. Perhaps they’re actually a team? A…
