Arc Raiders' latest patch fixes crashes and issues before Riven Tides, but with another Project slated to expire, players say it's "utterly ridiculous" Embark still hasn't added a timer
The latest Arc Raiders patch notes have been released by Embark, with a selection of bug fixes being added to the game today.
Over on the game’s website, Embark shares the notes for patch 1.24.0, which is set to be the final update before the Riven Tides update arrives at the end of April. Embark community lead Ossen notes: “The team is full steam ahead polishing the last bits and bobs of the new map and content for you!”
As for the patch itself, its a fairly small one dedicated to tackling a bunch of unintended issues and glitches in the game. These include the likes of crashing problems, the Vanguard Set causing model stretching for other players, and “an issue causing blurry visuals when AMD FSR Frame Generation was enabled.”

The biggest news out of this patch is – at least from player reactions – to do with the end of the Weather Monitor Station Project a few weeks back. Embark is urging players who contributed to the project to check their in-game inbox “in the next few days,” so players will possibly be getting rewarded for their efforts regardless. Embark is also warning that the High-Gain Antenna Project will expire before the Riven Tides update.
Reacting to the news on Reddit, one user says, “I am not a fan of projects randomly going away. I was doing weather monitor, but then it just went away. Please let us keep them, even battlepasses are forever.” In response, another adds, “Yeah I would like if they made it obvious that it was limited time or had a count down.”
The lack of indication seems to be the sticking point within the community, with one user saying it’s “utterly ridiculous that they don’t just have a timer or end date from the start.” Meanwhile, another adds: “Ah shit I had figured the Antenna project would run for a long time so have been chilling on it a little.”
Of course, until the devs do decide to add this feature to the game, there are third-party solutions, with the site Metaforge allowing you to see how long you have left and track what materials you need in the meantime.
Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more
Arc Raiders devs would love to have machine takedowns “like the Hoth invasion scene in Star Wars,” and “we could do that if we just had better rope physics”
