Sega has announced the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage. The Switch 2 version of the game will be released on March 26, 2026, and will be available in both digital and physical editions. While a Switch 2 port of a game already available on other platforms wouldn’t usually be a major event, this is particularly notable because it’s coming to a Nintendo platform.Ever since the release of the first Virtua Fighter in arcades back in 1993, the series has never seen a single official release on a Nintendo system, meaning the upcoming…

Ever since Capcom confirmed the worst kept secret in Resident Evil fandom to be true – that Leon Kennedy is in fact one of the heroes of Resident Evil Requiem – the studio has really been emphasizing how much gameplay variety is opened up by having dual protagonists. Grace is the timid, anxious, newcomer while Leon is the battletested hot uncle who’s perhaps become a little too cozy with his new ax.In a new interview with the PlayStation Blog, director Koshi Nakanishi revealed yet another layer of depth that wouldn’t have been possible without two playable characters: enemies and items…

Yes, I know you’re all excited for World of Warcraft Midnight. The launch of a new expansion is hard to top for WoW fans, and it’s just a matter of weeks away now. However, you’re probably right up to date with what’s coming when it drops – it’s been pretty well-documented by Blizzard at this point. What comes after Midnight’s release, however, has been considerably more shrouded. Until today. A new livestream outlining WoW’s future has just aired, and PCGamesN got the chance to see it ahead of time and learn about planned new features for housing, surprise raids, and…

If you’re still making your way through Capcom’s 2020 Resident Evil 3 remake, then you might be rubbing up against one of the game’s more complex puzzles. There aren’t many, but if any are going to trip you up, it’s probably this one. This is basically the last task in the Uptown section of the game. Just after activating the four circuit breakers in the murky depths of the Substation, you’ll need to identify a route for the subway train to take in the Subway Control Room, otherwise it won’t move, and most of the tracks are out of commission. Just…

A specter haunts video games, and its name is Grand Theft Auto 6. It seems like GTA 6 has been hanging over the release calendar like an atomic sword of Damocles for decades at this point, but it’s scarcely been two years since we got a proper first look at the game. With its release date currently set for November 19th, 2026, it doesn’t seem premature to already call it the biggest game of the year. This has become a bit of a tradition for the games industry – the early 2010s were dominated by GTA 5 for many, while…

When I first played Crimson Desert I had trouble working out what it wanted to be – Spider-Man? The Witcher? Dynasty Warriors? Dragon’s Dogma? Jedi Academy? The first of three new talkthrough videos from developers Pearl Abyss has helped concentrate the game in my mind. This is a grittier medieval fantasy take on The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, isn’t it! Those airborne ruins are a dead giveaway. All it’s missing is the elegance and feeling of completeness. OK, it doesn’t have a magic vehicle editor, either. That I know about. Without further ado, here’s the video.

Whether it’s in Dying Light or Dead Island, clunking zombies around the undead head with a blunt or bladed weapon is pure gaming satisfaction. Say what you want about the rest of those series’ gameplay decisions, they make the art of turning zombies into pulp a joy. Trying to emulate that feeling is The Midnight Walkers, but instead of a corny, single-player journey through some vast, infested world, it leans into extraction multiplayer games like Escape From Tarkov and Arc Raiders, trapping players in one chaotic high-rise building. After a couple of years in development, it’s finally time for it…

The number of developers interested in working on Xbox games is half that of PS5 or Switch. That’s according to the latest annual State of the Game Industry survey, which is managed by the Game Developers Conference. The survey, which questions more than 2,300 games industry professionals around the world, asked its respondents to list which platforms interest them most a developer at the moment.Respondents were allowed to choose as many options as possible, meaning they didn’t have to choose one platform over the other.80% of respondents said they were interested in developing a game on PC, by far the most popular…

The selection of Highguard weapons and guns is quite small at the moment, and even though they’re all quite good, some still stand above the rest as top picks. Some are simple and versatile, and others pack plenty of power but at the cost of overall unwieldiness. The Vanguard assault rifle, Paladin shotgun, Longhorn revolver, and Viper SMG have quickly proven to be my favorites, but if you want a breakdown of the best weapons in tier list form or just want to know what all the weapons and their high-rarity mods are, I’ve laid out all of that below.Best…
