AOC has just unveiled one of the most exciting-looking gaming monitors I’ve seen so far this year. The AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2 not only delivers a 32-inch panel size and 4K resolution, but even uses the latest 4th-gen QD-OLED technology, all while costing just $1,080. That still makes it a premium panel, but for the performance it should deliver, that’s amazing value for a 32-inch OLED gaming monitor. This format of display is currently my favorite and is why the top option on our best gaming monitor guide is not dissimilar. The combination of this screen size with a 4K…

Koei Tecmo is already having a heck of a year thanks to self-published releases like Nioh 3 and its collaboration with Nintendo and Game Freak on Pokemon Pokopia. The company’s expecting record results in its upcoming financial report, but that’s only partially because of the games. The real winner here is co-founder Keiko Erikawa’s legendary investment strategy. In a notice to investors, Koei Tecmo says it’s revising its forecast for the financial year, which runs from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. Full results should be provided soon, but compared to the previous forecast, the company’s expecting a 16.1% increase…

Roblox is the carcinisation of video games. It is an endpoint that, despite many varying diverging paths, many games ultimately end up at, even if they look noticeably different. Enshrouded is now approaching its own carcinisation with its latest update, Forging the Path, which introduces the awaited Adventure Sharing feature. Adventure Sharing is, more or less, what it says on the tin. You can already build all sorts of things in the survival game, like castles, obstacle courses, dungeons, but up until now any creation of yours was stuck on your own computer. With Adventure Sharing, you can…

What is the Elden Ring movie release date? To many, Elden Ring is merely a game about fighting… things. Monsters, people, strange, non-descript globules of matter; fighting does take center stage in FromSoft’s epic, but there is so much more to Elden Ring than a good scrap. With a movie officially in the works, we’ve gathered everything there is to know about the release date, the cast, and what they might tackle with the story. The Elden Ring movie isn’t the first videogame to get a shot at the big screen, and it most certainly won’t be the last. With…

Responding to concerns and criticisms about Arc Raiders’ updated Expedition system, developer Embark Studios announced a major change and released some new information that collectively make the system sound much more agreeable. For this Expedition cycle, players will have to deal damage in a limited-time challenge in order to earn maximum bonus skill points, meaning the money they may have saved for the previous value-based rewards is now worthless. Originally, players would’ve had just five days to complete the challenge, leaving many worried about their available free time.Embark says players will now have a full 13 days to complete the damage…

“This game contains depictions of violence, self harm, and general misery,” opens Casualties: Unknown, a short but still considerate content warning for the survival game ahead. Boy howdy is that last one accurate! We’ll get back to that, first, how about some setup. Casualties: Unknown is set in the year 2XXX, and you are a bioengineered anthropomorphic creature capable of thought that has been set to a plant to recover some lost cargo. Upon arriving at said planet, you must essentially head downwards, as far as I can tell, through 11 layers of this alien world. It is…

Verdict Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred feels, in many ways, like the end. With evil seemingly vanquished for now, a reworked endgame that really does have everything you need, and eight unique, exciting classes, I’m not sure where Blizzard goes from here. It does, however, serve as a climatic end to a saga of strife and woe, and while its narrative didn’t quite hit the spot for me, I can’t wait to explore more of what Skovos has to offer. I went into Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred with a feeling of sadness. It feels like the conclusion of an…

Blizzard has been taking in Diablo 4 player feedback and using it to shape game updates since shortly after launch in May 2023, and the developer doesn’t expect it’ll ever stop.In the latest issue of PC Gamer magazine, associate game director Zaven Haroutunian and game designer Aislyn Hall opened up about the challenges of keeping everyone happy in a game meant to be played over many years and hundreds of hours. It’s the endgame, typically, that draws out the most fervent commenters, and Diablo 4’s upcoming Lord of Hatred expansion is geared specifically for players who feel like they run…

The concept of an MMO getting a sequel is always a strange one to me, but nonetheless Aion 2 is here. Or at least it will be, sometime this year, as NCSoft have confirmed that “the only MMORPG built around a world where the sky is the battlefield” (perhaps an odd place to plant your flag) is getting a global release on PC later this year. It’s been available in South Korea and Taiwan since last year, but with this upcoming release some of the rest of us can have a go. By some, I mean those that…

Nomion Games is the brainchild of former Battlestate Games duo Dmitri Ogorodnikov and German Terekhov. Having left the Escape From Tarkov studio for pastures new, the pair bring with them a wealth of experience, and have certainly felt the changing tides within the industry over the years. A key belief pillar for Nomion is, according to Ogorodnikov, that “creative potential, accumulated experience, and ambition should not be put on hold.” As the integration of AI into videogame development continues to be a hot topic, usually for the wrong reasons, it was only prudent that I quizzed the devs behind upcoming…
