Beef season 2
Watch On
Available: US/UK
The second season of anthology show Beef changes up the setting, the tone, and the cast. Season 2 is set in an elite country club where a young couple, Ashley (Cailee Spaeny) and Austin (Charles Melton), witness the club’s manager Josh (Oscar Isaac) and his wife Lindsay (Carey Mulligan) embroiled in an explosive argument. They film it with the plan to use it as leverage to improve their own situation, but things quickly go very wrong indeed.
The first season of Beef was incredibly compelling TV. This second run takes things in a different direction, one that can’t help but draw comparisons with The White Lotus. While perhaps not as instantly addictive as that first run, this is still great drama with a star-packed cast.
