Now that The Boys has come to an end, Jack Quaid is pitching himself a future role in Netflix’s upcoming BioShock adaptation (or any adaptation, really).
“I’ve said this before, I’ll say it again: BioShock. I would kill to be in a BioShock adaptation,” Quaid told Collider. “I actually don’t even know what character I’d be… Just to be involved in the slightest. That game was probably one of the first horror games that I ever played. That twist in that game, which I won’t spoil, is incredible.”
Netflix’s BioShock movie is still in the works… though I’m guessing Quaid has yet to get a call. It was first announced back in 2022, with Francis Lawrence attached to direct. Pre-production has yet to begin, however, as Lawrence was busy in 2025 with Stephen King’s The Long Walk, and is now hard at work on the new Hunger Games movie. While Quaid previously pitched a prequel of sorts, taking place before the underwater city of Rapture collapsed, the Netflix movie will adapt the first game. Quaid also previously mentioned that he wouldn’t mind playing sadistic artist Sander Cohen, who is, indeed, in the first game…

As for Quaid’s post-Boys future, the actor is set to star alongside Brie Larson and Lily Collins in the upcoming comedy, Close Personal Friends.
