All missions in Nioh 3 fall into one of two categories: story-driven main missions and optional side quests, otherwise known as myths, that gradually unlock as you progress. Nioh 3 Myths
Nioh 3’s side quests, otherwise known as myths, provide extra skill points and equipment to help you overcome the toughest bosses. They also offer insight into characters that appear in the story.
Myths gradually become available as you progress. You’ll know when you can start a myth when its icon appears on the map. Some side missions unlock after you’ve traveled to the next map, so be prepared to fast travel between time periods to complete them all.
