How to watch Wicked: For Good, the highly anticipated and surprisingly dark sequel to the smash hit movie Wicked

We reviewed Wicked: For Good when it came to theaters in late 2025, finding it to be darker and sadder than the first movie with a moving conclusion. And now it’s coming to streaming, so if you didn’t catch it in the cinema you can return to Oz from the comfort of your couch.

Wicked: For Good is the sequel to Wicked, and it returns to the land of Oz where – skip this section if you haven’t seen Wicked yet – Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) is the newly crowned Witch of the West. It begins a year after the end of the first movie, and it’s darker than the original: we described it as building “to an incredibly cathartic conclusion”.

In this instalment of the story, Elphaba’s name has been dragged through the dirt by Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh), the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum) continues to pull strings from behind the curtain and the smiling face of Oz is Glinda The Good (Ariana Grande) whose fiance, Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey), is leading the hunt for Elphaba without a great deal of enthusiasm.

This is a story that deals with some pretty heavy themes including the power of propaganda and mass manipulation, and it’s keen to remix the source material to create something really interesting as well as entertaining. Where the original Broadway Act Two is an hour, this film is over two hours long and uses that room to add a new opening sequence, two brand new musical numbers and some gripping scenes.

How to watch Wicked: For Good in the US

Wicked: For Good is streaming exclusively on Peacock in the US, and that means you’ve got a few options here. There are two plans, Premium and Premium Plus, and they’re $10.99 a month and $16.99 a month respectively with two months free if you pay annually.

You can also get Peacock as part of a bundle with Apple TV. That’s $14.99 per month for Apple TV and Peacock Premium or $19.99 per month for Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus.

While Peacock doesn’t currently offer a free trial directly, you can get it for free as part of a Walmart+ membership – and that membership does have a 30-day free trial.

How to watch Wicked: For Good in the UK

Peacock isn’t currently available in the UK, and that means for the time being Wicked: For Good is only available on subscription as part of a Sky Cinema subscription or NOW Cinema membership.

Don’t worry, though, you can still watch Wicked: For Good legally in the UK if you don’t have or want either of those subscriptions: it’s available as a rental through all the usual suspects such as Apple TV, Google Play, Prime Video and more.
