How long is Nioh 3? This open world(ish) game is coming to PC alongside the console release, a first for a Nioh game, and it looks like it’s getting bigger. Though it’s still classed as open field, there are tons of areas to explore, side quests to acquire, and brutal enemies to encounter.
Now the Nioh 3 release date is fast approaching, we’ve already had a chance to sharpen our swords and delve into the samurai game. We’ve already put in many, many hours, but just how many? As the series continues to grow in size and scale, here’s how long you can expect Nioh 3 to take.
We’re currently fighting our way through Nioh 3, and we haven’t quite reached the end yet. We’ll be sure to update this guide once we have, but you should expect it to take roughly 40 hours of your time, if the last two games are anything to go by. That’s just for the main campaign, so if you’re adding side quests, it’ll add a fair few hours, taking around 60-70 hours to beat.
Though Nioh 3 isn’t an open-world game, it does have large, non-linear areas to explore as you progress through the story, adding side quests and extra optional content, without becoming unruly in the hours you could potentially spend in the game. Nioh 2 was also slightly longer than the first game, adding around ten hours of story and 30 hours of side missions, and if you’re a completionist, you could be nearing the 100-hour mark.
That’s just to give you some flavor of what’s in store when it comes to how long Nioh 3 takes to beat. It may join our list of the best soulslike games, and be sure to keep an eye out for our review to see what we think.
