Excuse the pun, but this Fallout RPG bundle is RADically good

I fear I am experiencing withdrawal after Fallout’s second season ended, so now I’m doing the only sensible thing and filling that void with a RAD-ically good deal on the Fallout tabletop RPG. Am I sorry for that terrible pun? No. No, I’m not.

Let’s move on faster than a Vault Dweller running away from a Deathclaw. You can currently grab what feels like most of the Fallout tabletop RPG’s rules and adventures (along with plenty of wargame gubbins, if the best tabletop RPGs aren’t your thing) in PDF form for a fraction of the normal price at Humble. And I mean a fraction – you’re getting a frankly absurd $1,048’s worth of material for just $25, or almost £772 for £18.39 if you’re based in the UK. Here’s what’s included:

Is this bundle worth your caps? Although mileage for the wargames will vary (it’s worth noting that you’ll need to get models separately, though it isn’t difficult to pick up a warband on the cheap), the value of the RPG offering is excellent. Besides the core rules, you’re getting more adventures than you could reasonably get through even after weeks of playing. Although the lineup isn’t including everything produced for the 2d20 system, it doesn’t seem far off. If you were tempted to run even a handful of one-offs based in the Wasteland (like I currently am, alongside my solo adventures), that’s a whole lot less than you’d pay otherwise. As such, fans of pen-and-paper RPGs are well in.

So, onto the other bits. While I appreciate that the STL files are only going to be helpful for a small subsection of people (e.g. those with a 3D printer, or easy access to one), there’s tremendous bang for buck value here. Files like this can get expensive, so paying cents for these official, detailed designs you can use in wargames or as terrain for said RPG quests is a bargain. I’m genuinely tempted to pick up the bundle just for that, because I love a project and also giving myself way too much to do.

Naturally, you don’t have to pay full whack – you can pay less for fewer items if you’d prefer. Either way, a portion of the proceeds go to a good, charitable cause. To be precise, it helps the American Civil Liberties Union, or ACLU. This organization works to be a “guardian of liberty, working in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guarantee everyone.” Sounds like a noble cause to me.
