The mind-melting world of Remedy’s Control is back for a sequel with Control Resonant, which is set to launch on September 24, 2026.
Control Resonate pre-orders are now live, and there are a few different versions out there for both the PS5 and Xbox Series X. To start with, there’s the traditional standard edition available for $59.99 (Amazon) / £44.99 (Smyths Toys) on the PS5 and $59.99 (Amazon) / £44.99 (Smyths Toys) on the Xbox Series X.
If you care more about cool collectibles than saving cash, the Amazon Exclusive version available for £49.99 (Amazon) in the UK includes an art print in the box, alongside a collectible slip case.
By spending $10 / £10 more at Amazon and a slew of other US and UK retailers, you can alternatively pick up the SteelBook version, which includes not one but three art prints in total, alongside a poster, and a stylish alternative case for the game.
There’s no Collector’s Edition this time around, so the SteelBook version is as good as it gets for swag-hunters. However, Remedy is known for producing some weird and exclusive merch based on its games. The Alan Wake 2 Thermos, anyone? So it wouldn’t be entirely unheard of for the studio to produce some exclusive Control Resonant-themed goodies in the future. If a Collector’s Edition is revealed closer to September, I’ll be sure to let you know.

Is there a Control Resonant demo?
Developers Remedy Entertainment have not announced a Control Resonant demo for either the PS5, Xbox Series X, or PC. However, according to the PlayStation Blog, those who pre-order the PlayStation 5 Digital Deluxe Edition will receive 48 hours of advance access to the game.
Is there a Control Resonant Collector’s Edition?
A Control Resonant Collector’s Edition has not been announced. However, both the Standard Amazon Exclusive and SteelBook Editions of the game include physical extras in the box.
There’s also a Digital Deluxe Edition available directly on your PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, which includes in-game extras, including a digital artbook, copy of the game’s soundtrack, and in-game items like the AWE mission outfit, and a Starter Resource Bundle.
