The CEO of Crimson Desert publisher Pearl Abyss says it’s currently looking into a possible Switch 2 port.Speaking a shareholder’s meeting today (as reported by South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency), CEO Heo Jin-young was asked about the chances of a potential Switch 2 version of Crimson Desert.“While there are some aspects we have to compromise on because the Switch currently has lower specifications compared to other consoles, we have begun research and development internally with a keen interest,” he replied (via machine translation).Heo also noted that the game had set a domestic record for selling 2 million copies worldwide in…

With Bloodlines 2 behind us, it's time for a new open world Hunter: The Reckoning RPG from the creators of RoboCop: Rogue City
Teyon and Nacon have revealed Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish, a new “semi open world” first-person single-player RPG set in the World of Darkness table-top universe. Where stablemate series Vampire: The Masquerade is about a secret society of bloodsuckers, Hunter is about the humans who stalk and kill those bloodsuckers together with werewolves, ghouls and, well, anything remotely monstrous or supernatural. Do not go Trick or Treating near these folks – they will put a stake right through your Beetlejuice costume, and you will have deserved it for besmirching the legacy of Michael Keaton. Anyway: trailer. Watch on YouTube Slated…
Fresh Slay the Spire 2 patch notes have arrived, and Prepared is back. “You can lower your Shivs,” developer Mega Crit jokes. Game designer Anthony Giovannetti is here to walk us through the team’s thoughts and the design intent behind the new changes. They include some pretty heavy-handed Regent buffs, slightly more friendly map layouts, and yet another fresh approach for one of the roguelike’s climactic boss fights. Giovannetti notes that player feedback “has been instrumental in helping guide our process,” so keep it coming. As with last week’s massive overhaul, a reminder that this Slay the Spire 2 update…

Cyclops star James Marsden says that Hugh Jackman "was missed" on the set of Avengers: Doomsday, but no one believes that Wolverine won't appear
The Avengers: Doomsday cast list is supersized, but one person who is missing from the roster is Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. While it’s possible Jackman’s appearance is being kept under wraps, Cyclops star James Marsden has seemingly confirmed that Wolverine will not appear in the Marvel Phase 6 film.”I love Hugh Jackman, and I love the dynamic between Wolverine and Cyclops,” Marsden told ComicBook.com. “It was always a brotherly, healthy competition between the two of them, where they were annoyed with each other. It did feel like a brotherly relationship. I wouldn’t say that I was excited to slide into that role…
The JSAUX ModCase is our second favourite Steam Deck case, serving as a more affordable alternative to the Dbrand Project Killswitch. It’s an affordable means of protecting your handheld PC while also having the modularity of more expensive cases. The deal we’ve spotted is on the base option, which is coming in at $25 from Amazon US in the current Spring Sale. You can push to other options with more accessories, although those aren’t discounted to the same extent at the moment.
Owlcat is using generative AI for The Expanse Osiris Reborn, but the final game will be "100% human made"
The Expanse is one of the best science fiction series I’ve ever read. The TV show was a strong interpretation of Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck’s novels until the final, unfortunately rushed, series, too. So Owlcat’s forthcoming RPG has a high bar to clear. However, my confidence that it will pull off a stunning maneuver and create spacefaring magic with The Expanse: Osiris Reborn has been dealt a blow as a spokesperson admits that Owlcat is using generative AI in the development process. Two years after coming under social media scrutiny for a job advert which listed “concept generation using…

Stardew Valley 1.7 update leaks "are fake," confirms ConcernedApe – and he has "no plans to ever add" Harvest Moon-style romance rivalries to the farming sim
With work on Stardew Valley and its 1.7 update underway, rumors of what it might harbor – aside from the already revealed two new marriage candidates – have been floating about.According to creator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone, though, absolutely none of the online speculation is true… or, at least, there are no genuine “leaks” regarding 1.7. He says as much in a new post, writing, “Any claims that there are ‘leaks’ of 1.7 content are fake. There are no leaks.” It’s a blow to hopeful fans’ hearts, apparently, as many were holding out for features they had seen folks discussing on…
