The Thrustmaster T248R is making me question where a sim racing wheel with no direct drive and no modular wheelbase fits in the market in 2026
Why you can trust GamesRadar+ Our experts review games, movies and tech over countless hours, so you can choose the best for you. Find out more about our reviews policy. The sim racing landscape is evolving pretty rapidly. New brands are popping up, technology is advancing, and the price you have to pay for one of the best racing wheels is starting to come down. While there may be plenty of change going on, it’s always nice to have some consistency. Thrustmaster has been a household name in this space for decades, long enough that it’s now iterating on its…
Regions of Ruin: Runegate is a pleasantly pixelly RPG about rebuilding a lost dwarven kingdom, and it’s out next month
I tend to take my videogame dwarves spacefaring, but there’s something inviting about the more classical, beards-and-barrel-chested adventuring being offered by Regions of Ruin: Runegate. An expanded and prettified sequel to 2020’s Regions of Ruin, which I also knew nothing about until this morning, Runegate casts you as a lone dwarf charged with travelling the treacherous (but attractively pixel-arty) wilds to bring about the rejuvenation of your peoples’ ruined subterranean home. Here’s the new release date trailer; not to spoil the ending, but it’s out on April 14th 2026.
As if its dual protagonists, stunning cinematics, and intense horror action wasn’t enough, Resident Evil Requiem’s game director has just confirmed that a story expansion is in the works. I don’t think this will come as much of a surprise to anyone, given that we’ve had plenty of DLC over the years for past Resi games and that Requiem has been an enormous success, but it’s good to get confirmation nonetheless. While that will no doubt be a while away, there are a few things to look forward to in the shorter term, including a photo mode and a new…

My favorite budget Switch 2 headset just got a makeover for Mario Day, and it's pretty super
Mario Day is here, and Turtle Beach is taking advantage of today in the most opportune way possible by adorning one of the best Nintendo Switch 2 headsets with a new Mario look.Today of all days, the accessories brand has announced it’s releasing a new version of the Turtle Beach Airlite Fit wired headset, swapping its black, blue, and red color palette for a new ‘Mario Star’ design which includes a translucent black and red color combo. The best part is undoubtedly the inclusion of Mario on the earcups, who’s sporting that iconic and classic Yōichi Kotabe art style.Despite its…
New lawsuit wants Valve to repay "billions" earned from "illegal gambling" lootboxes in Counter-Strike, Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2
Tis the season for taking Steam to court, apparently. A new class action lawsuit has been filed in Washington, USA accusing Valve of running an unlawful gambling operation through lootbox mechanics in Counter-Strike 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, and Team Fortress 2. Acting specifically on behalf of two individuals, Alexander Flauto and Jackson Meyer, but with extension to affected consumers at large, legal firm Hagens Berman are seeking “full disgorgement and restitution” of the billions of dollars they say Valve have illicitly made from gambling. Published yesterday, 9th March, the full 32-page text of the complaint will make familiar…
What are all the Ascension levels in Slay the Spire 2? Upon completing the game for the first time, you unlock Ascension levels – difficulty modifiers that introduce challenging mechanics. Each Ascension level offers a new way to hinder you, and the effects stack as you progress through the levels. The number of Ascension levels varies depending on how far you’ve managed to progress as each of the Slay the Spire 2 characters. For example, if you’ve completed the card game several times as The Regent, your unlocked Ascension levels are tied to that specific character, meaning you’ll need to…

Evangelion studio admits leaking its own 30th anniversary short after "insufficient understanding of X’s takedown request system"
Evangelion studio Khara has issued an apology after leaking its own 30th anniversary short – but then released it officially to the public anyway.Previously, the short – a playful trip down memory lane for Asuka and her Rebuild counterpart – was only available to attendees of the 30th anniversary Evangelion celebration event. The video was (predictably) filmed behind-closed-doors, which led to Khara undertaking actions to remove it. You may like In doing so, however, Khara allegedly emailed a high-quality copy of the short to the user, who then spread it around social media. From there, the damage was done – and Khara…
