ConcernedApe admits he was "starting to work on a Stardew Valley 2" before Haunted Chocolatier, and he could return to it one day
Last year, Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone surprised Stardew Valley fans by admitting he “might eventually make a Stardew Valley 2.” Given that he and his team of devs continue to tinker with the first game as it approaches its tenth birthday (update 1.7 is confirmed to be on the way) and his highly anticipated Haunted Chocolatier project is still a long way off, how could the Stardew creator even dream of making a sequel right now? Well, it seems as if Stardew 2 was more than just a reverie – ConcernedApe says in a new interview he was “starting to work”…
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is one of my favourite Nintendo games of the past few years. Lovingly crafted and packed full of imagination and surprises, the Switch platformer is undoubtedly the plumber’s most memorable 2D outing since the 90s.However, if I had one small complaint, it was that Wonder left me wanting more. Mario fans have been spoiled over the years by the generous Odyssey and 3D World, which spewed rewards long after their credits rolled. And in comparison, Wonder felt like it was missing its own gallant epilogue, which could take its deep toybox of Wonder effects and power-ups…

Stardew Valley 2 continues to remain a hypothetical, but ConcernedApe did actually consider making it at one point
You know, sometimes I wonder if Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone ever sleeps. At any given moment it sounds like he’s working on something, whether that be yet another update for Stardew Valley, or the definitely still in development, just wait a while you silly sausages, Haunted Chocolatier. And, as it turns out, somewhere along the line, Barone had even considered making Stardew Valley 2. Speaking in an interview with IGN to commemorate Stardew Valley’s impending 10th anniversary, Barone was asked whether or not he’d consider doing a sequel as opposed to more updates. “Yeah, I would,” Barone plainly responded.…
Delta Force's new season features a game mode I'm sure will make a lot of Escape From Tarkov fans envious
Fiery Owl Hunt sounds like some kind of mystical side quest in a fantasy RPG, not the new mode for a tactical FPS game. However, 2026 is swiftly proving to be full of surprises. Delta Force’s new season has just got underway, and the Fiery Owl Hunt has arrived, delivering one of the most exciting features set to arrive in primary rival Escape From Tarkov’s upcoming Scav Life DLC. This new experience lets you play as Saeed, one of the extraction mode’s big bosses, and two of your friends can flank you as his bodyguards. While most minds immediately think…

It's not Kong, it's not Godzilla, it's something far worse in first trailer for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters — Season 2 Official Trailer | Apple TV – YouTube Watch On Move over, Godzilla. Step aside, Kong. There’s a new threat in town – and it could spell disaster for everybody in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2.Backed, fittingly, by the song ‘I’ve Just Destroyed the World’, the trailer Monarch’s second season picks up where the first left off – namely, with a few years having passed in the Hollow Earth and our assembled crew unwittingly unleashing havoc near Skull Island. The focus is on a towering Titan (described as “like a god” in one voiceover)…
The purpose of a Tamagotchi is to have a tiny, portable digital pet with you at all times that you can feed and feed and feed until it grows into something slightly bigger, different, a new creature almost. It’s generally a sweet, albeit potentially irritating (the beeps…) little micro-game that may cause a touch of stress, but certainly no feelings of fear. In Full Bloom, however, asks “what if your Tamagotchi was actually a blob of an organism with nothing but a mouth that you must continuously feed… or else…” The Tamagotchi connection to In Full Bloom is…
If I sat down next to you and told you to get Battle Shapers, Black Mesa, and Doom Eternal in one sentence, you’d probably get whiplash. Sure, they may belong to the same genre, but the gameplay mechanics, subgenres, and worlds are completely different. However, together they help form the beautiful and varied tapestry that represents the best in FPS gaming right now. Stick with me, because all three of those experiences – and four more – are part of the new Humble Bundle, and it’s one you really won’t want to miss. Starting with Black Mesa, which actually got…
As far as full console launches go, 1995’s Virtual Boy is by far Nintendo’s biggest flop. But a surprise upcoming add-on for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 is about to remind modern players that the much-maligned VR system wasn’t all bad.Set to release on February 17 alongside the system’s addition to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription, the Virtual Boy for Nintendo Switch 2/Nintendo Switch accessory will cost $100 / £67 and is required to play the library of retro games (though a cheaper cardboard model will also be available for $25 / £17) by inserting your console…
