Ubisoft is giving Assassin’s Creed Shadows players what they seemingly want the most in the historical RPG’s latest update, which is a manual jump.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be one year old in just over a months time, and Ubisoft is still updating the game fairly regularly, and while that sometimes manifests in the unpopular Attack on Titan crossover – which didn’t have you fight a single titan – the updates have mostly been well received, with a shockingly good Nintendo Switch 2 port have the game a bit more momentum towards the end of the year. But Ubisoft has just now finally added something players have been asking for the whole time.
In the latest batch of Assassin’s Creed Shadows patch notes posted by Ubisoft, the team acknowledged “it’s finally here!” with the game-changing ability to jump, something that could never be done in an Assassin’s Creed game except for a majority of them. Ubisoft says, “We’ve heard your request and are bringing back a fan favorite feature for parkour,” and with the “Advanced Parkour” option enabled in-game players can now have Yasuke or Naoe jump at any time “making the world an even more dynamic playground for Parkour enthusiasts”.
