While it’s all well and good having powerful operators at your disposal, they’ll never reach their full potential unless they have the right allies fighting by their side. Talos-II is anything but a fun park, so locking down strong synergies is crucial to your survival.

The best Arknights Endfield team comps in 1.0 tend to revolve around the crème de la crème of our Endfield tier list. However, Hypergryph has done a great job of making four and five-star units in the free PC game hold their own against even the rarest and most powerful characters Arknights Endfield has to offer. As such, there’s decent compositional variety in the current meta, and below we detail the top teams you should be running, from free-to-play’s finest to premium powerhouses.

Here are the best Arknights Endfield team comps for 1.0:

Laevatain Arts team

• Laevatain (Main DPS)
• Wulfgard (Sub-DPS)
• Antal (Amplifier)
• Ardelia (Healer)

The Laevatain Arts team will send your enemies up in a fiery inferno. Laevatain serves as the main DPS, with the rest of her teammates bolstering not only her Melting Flame stack generation but also her overall damage. Before reading on, you’ll want to check out our Laevatain character guide for a thorough rundown of what she’s capable of.

Wulfgard is the optimal partner in crime for Laevatain as their kits synergize beautifully. Wulfgard applies Heat Infliction and Laevatain absorbs it to generate Melting Flame stacks. When Laevatain has four stacks of Melting Flame, she unleashes a more powerful version of her skill which applies Combustion. Wulfgard then consumes that Combustion to deal a huge amount of damage. Rinse, repeat, murder. Easy.

Akekuri is a very common option for this team; she’s a Heat character that applies Heat Infliction and serves as a potent SP battery. However, despite being an Electric operator, we’d recommend running Antal instead. Antal’s an interesting hybrid, providing both Electric and Heat-based effects. Thanks to the Heat Susceptibility provided by his skill, the Heat Amp offered by his ultimate, and the Corrosion effect generated by mixing Heat and Electric elements, Antal provides his DPS duo the highest possible damage.

Another boon to running Antal is that his Improviser talent can heal operators. While it’s nothing to write home about, this does mean you can eventually forego Ardelia when Gilberta arrives on the Arknights Endfield banners. Between both characters, you should have plenty of sustain. Gilberta’s AoE crowd control is the perfect complement to Laevatain, so she should become a priority pick.

For now, though, Ardelia is more than good enough to deputize. She’s the best healer in the game, and even better than that, she’s free if you’re playing at launch. She can also consume the Corrosion applied by Antal et al. to instead apply Physical and Arts Susceptibility, allowing your team to bring down even more pain.

Last Rite Cryo-Nature team

• Last Rite (Main DPS)
• Fluorite (Sub-DPS)
• Xaihi (Amplifier)
• Ardelia (Healer)

Though not free-to-play per se, if you’ve been making use of our Endfield reroll guide, you’ll likely have bumped into Last Rite; the best DPS on the Standard banner. Though you’ll likely be rolling for Yvonne when her banner arrives if you love your Cryo characters, this isn’t a reason to discount Last Rite, as the pair synergize very well.

But enough about Yvonne, let’s talk about the top Cryo team you can play right now, which has Last Rite leading the charge. This cool customer is all about stacking Cryo Infliction before popping her combo skill to deal massive damage and generate a ton of ultimate charge.

Perhaps unsurprisingly then, we’ve got Fluorite in the sub-DPS slot. As our Fluorite character guide notes, she’s not the most powerful operator in isolation. However, she is the perfect battery for Last Rite. This is because both her combo skill and ultimate provide a free Cryo Infliction stack to targets with two or more stacks. Timing this correctly subsequently activates Last Rite’s combo skill, which requires three stacks; you see how this is pretty darn handy.

Next up we have Xaihi, who is the perfect support for both damage dealers. Most importantly, she provides Cryo Infliction with her combo skill, which is self-activating when the Auxiliary Crystal from her skill expires. Then there’s her ultimate, which grants both Cryo and Nature Amp for the team, upping the DPS numbers for Last Rite and Fluorite.

You know who else is a Nature user? Ardelia. Though she’s not exactly going to be laying down the beatdowns, Ardelia can make use of those delicious Corrosion reactions to bring Physical and Arts Susceptibility to the fore. Though the healing from herself and Xaihi may be a little overkill depending on the content, and you may be tempted to slot someone like Perlica in instead, the damage amp is even better.

Avywenna Electric team

• Avywenna (Main DPS)
• Arclight (Sub-DPS)
• Antal (Amplifier/Healer)
• Perlica (Amplifier)

The best free-to-play Arknights Endfield team right now is a mono-Electric setup starring five-star operator Avywenna. All of Endfield’s Electric characters are incredibly strong, and putting them all together into one comp makes for quite the squad; shocker.

This team not only plays around Electric Infliction, but also Electrification and final strikes. While Avywenna doesn’t have the same consumption mechanics for these effects as Laevatain and Last Rite do for their respective elements, Arclight does. Arclight is the main SP battery for the team and eats up Electrification with her skill to deal bonus Electric damage and recover SP.

While Arclight can apply Electrification with her ultimate, provided enemies are already Electric-inflicted, Perlica is the main gal who glues the whole comp together. Her combo skill electrifies enemies for a brief time, while her skill makes for an AoE Electric Infliction party.

Apply Electric Infliction and follow up with Avywenna’s final strike to proc Perlica’s combo skill, which adds Electrification into the mix. Then, have Arclight use her combo skill to consume the Electrification, restoring SP while dealing damage. It’s all big zappy energy, and we love it.

There’s one operator we haven’t mentioned, though: Antal. Flashy combos are all well and good, but they’re for naught if they don’t put up the big, dopamine-eliciting numbers. Antal is the perfect amplifier, providing Electric Susceptibility and Electric Amp to the team, ensuring everything dies a horrible, horrible death. We’re really putting the ‘ow’ in ‘kachow’ here.

Endministrator Physical team

• Endministrator (Main DPS)
• Chen Qianyu (Sub-DPS)
• Pogranichnik (SP Battery)
• Ardelia (Healer)

If good ol’ fashioned big bonk is your preferred playstyle, you’re in luck. Doing away with fancy elements, this Endmin-fronted Physical team focuses on knocking enemies up, smashing them down, and leaving them feeling more than vulnerable.

‘Vulnerability’ is the key word here, as rather than utilizing elemental infliction, you’ll be stacking and consuming Vulnerability to lord over your foes with an iron fist. Endmin applies this via the Crush effect on her skill, and Chen Qianyu’s skill and combo skill both elicit Vulnerability through Lift.

Then you have the team’s Duracell bunny, Pogranichnik. Though he can also hop aboard the Vulnerability train with his Breach effect, he’s at his best when consuming stacks of it. Not only can he amp his own combo skill damage by consuming four stacks, but, crucially, sacrificing them through his skill recovers SP for the team.

Ardelia may seem like the ugly duckling as the only elemental user on the team; her ability to consume Corrosion to apply Physical Susceptibility with her skill is imperative to maximizing the comp’s potential. As Ardelia’s combo skill requires final strikes on enemies without Vulnerability applied to activate, start your combat sequence by simply whacking away with Endmin until she can proc it. Once she’s used her skill, go to town on applying and utilizing Vulnerability with the rest of the gang.

Endministrator Shatter team

• Alesh (SP Battery)
• Estella (Amplifier)
• Ardelia (Healer)

Another great free-to-play Arknights Endfield team is built on Solidification and Vulnerability. This is made possible thanks to the interplay between Endmin, Alesh, and Estella, who collectively freeze their foes before shattering them.

Starting with Estella, the Cryo operator’s battle skill applies Cryo Infliction to enemies in her path. This, in turn, allows Alesh to use his own skill to apply Solidification to a target while restoring team SP. Now, Estella can use her combo skill to apply Vulnerability, shattering the target for big damage. Follow this up with Endmin’s combo skill to apply an Originium Crystal to your enemy.

From here, you’ll want to detonate the crystal with Endmin’s skill, satisfying the conditions for Alesh’s combo skill, which, when activated, recovers even more SP for the team. Rinse and repeat, and you’ll never have to worry about SP as you lock up and smash your opponents to pieces.

Ardelia doesn’t have many innate synergies here, but there isn’t a better healer around, and, as we explained in the Endmin Physical team entry, can apply and consume Corrosion to boost Physical and Arts Susceptibility. Remember to get Ardelia’s combo skill/skill combo off before you start applying Vulnerability, and you’re golden.
