How to craft the Cloudcart in Crimson Desert

How do you craft the Cloudcart? Getting around in Crimson Desert is half of the fun, really. The environments are beautiful, and it’s a genuine pleasure to take in the sights as you attempt to accomplish whatever mission you’re on at the time. There does come a point when traipsing around on the ground becomes tiresome – however, there is another way.

Dragons are all well and good, but we all know technology is where it’s at, and there isn’t much more advanced than a hot air balloon in Crimson Desert. You, too, can have your very own hot air balloon – a Cloudcart – but you’ll have to put a bit of work in first, namely exploring and solving that Glenbright Manor puzzle.

How to craft the Crimson Desert Cloudcart

First things first: you need the blueprints to the Cloudcart before you can begin construction. These can be found in Glenbright Manor, hidden in the secret basement. Once you have the blueprints in hand, the option to craft the Cloudcart will become available at the Emberwind Workshop.

To craft the Cloudcart, you need to commit five Greymanes to the project, as well as a bunch of resources. These are:

• Five Greymane comrades (one with the Engineer skill)
• 75x Stone
• 75x Timber
• 150x Food
• 2,500x Coin

With the Cloudcart at your disposal, there isn’t a height you can’t reach (until your fuel runs out, that is). It’s mainly used to reach altitude, rather than spanning large distances, but it can be incredibly useful for reaching previously inaccessible areas or scanning the environment for fast travel points.
