Hytale mithril doesn't exist yet, but thanks to "suggestions in DMs" endgame mining is going to get "a bit more interesting"

Hytale currently hints at endgame gear that you need to craft via mithril, but there’s no way to actually get the ore in-game – aside from cheating and popping into creative mode. The devs at Hypixel apparently have some big plans for endgame mining, including mithril, and it’ll be a bit more involved than the current process for mining ore.

“We got some fun ideas about Mithril,” Hypixel boss Simon Collins-Laflamme says on Twitter. He adds, “Let’s say it wont be as simple to mine as the others!” Our friends at PC Gamer spotted this tweet, and in response to their article, Collins-Laflamme offered a follow-up message with some interesting extra details.
