Marvel Rivals events – all current and upcoming events

What are the current and upcoming Marvel Rivals events? There is an entire multiverse worth of story going on in Marvel Rivals, with everything happening everywhere all at once; stopping Spider Zero from pushing the cart is only good enough until the next round starts, and we know that those screaming goats will be back, win or lose. Luckily, there are story events that have a fixed start and end point, and even better, they come with a ton of rewards.

Now in Season 6 of the multiplayer game, there are some spicy Marvel Rivals events for you to enjoy, boasting exclusive rewards for your favorite Marvel Rivals characters, and even cash prizes depending on whether your competitive cogs are turning.

Whac-a-Jeff

Duration: January 16, 2026 – March 20, 2026

Though we wish we were getting Jeffpool from this event, everyone’s favorite land shark’s 8-Bit Bash skin is equally neat. Here, you’ll need to complete missions that yield Chimichangas to feed to Deadpool, providing him with the energy to whack away at Jeffs, yielding rewards.

Museum Ticket (Battle Pass)

Duration: January 16, 2026 – March 20, 2026

The current Battle Pass the best Marvel Rivals skins for Venom and Moon Knight yet, providing immaculate nautical vibes for the former, and opulent drip for the latter. It also features amazing free skins for Blade and Storm, making it a solid all-rounder.

Gone Nutty for Gifts

Duration: December 12, 2025 – January 29, 2026

Complete event missions to earn common and rare acorns to spend on costumes and other cosmetics. Here you can get the free Black & Gold Magneto skin, as well as festive glam for Winter Soldier and Squirrel Girl.

Pick-up Bundle

Duration: Permanent

If you have a few bucks to spare, the Pick-up Bundle is a solid investment. While the Hyper Orange Venom skin won’t give you your daily dose of Vitamin C, the included Costume Coin is the juicier component.

Galacta’s Gift

Duration: Permanent

We all love free stuff, and Galacta’s Gift is a permanent event that coughs up Doom-themed goods, Chrono Shield cards, and even a Costume Coin you can use to redeem from a pool of solid skins.

Grand Garden Adventure (Battle Pass)

Duration: November 14, 2025 – January 16, 2026

This Marvel Rivals battle pass was a real mixed bag. You’ve got Namor and Angela’s best skins yet, Adam Warlock is purple now, and… whatever Blue Thing is. All-round, it might’ve been the best pass yet in terms of cosmetics.

Elders’ Chessboard (Spider-Man – Iron Spider)

Duration: November 14, 2025 – January 16, 2026

You know the drill at this point: clear lots of missions, paint all of the chess pieces, and you’d be rewarded with the classic 1999 Iron Spider look for Spidey in return for your toil.

Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival

Duration: December 18, 2025 – January 16, 2026

A 4v4v4 arcade mode event available in 5.5, where three teams of four competed to decorate the Jeffland map in their team colors. Matches only lasted three minutes as you and your team painted the town, with the majority color winning.

Seeds of the Gardener

Duration: December 12, 2025 – January 16, 2026

Earn costumes, nameplates, emotes, and more just by leveling up to earn rewards. You can join the free tier or go for the premium tier for 690 Lattice.

Van Dyne’s Grand Opening

Duration: December 4, 2025 – January 1, 2026

The Rivals Day celebrations yield plenty of free Units to burn, and if you want to go all-in on something special, Van Dyne’s Grand Opening offers up six rewards, including Psylocke’s Daring Daifuku legendary skin, for no more than 2,400 Units.

Anniversary Login

Duration: November 27, 2025 – December 18, 2025

Throughout the Rivals Day celebrations you’ll be able to snap up 1,500 free Units just by logging in for seven days. These units are temporary, though, and will expire at the end of the event, so make sure you use them!

Jeff’s Break Time

Duration: November 27, 2025 – December 18, 2025

Jeff’s Break Time presents Jeff’s best costume yet, and it ain’t even close. The suit, the tie, the loafers. Perfection. Simply play games, accrue coins for the machine, and eventually Business Shark Jeff will come home.

Rivals Day 2025

Duration: November 27, 2025 – December 18, 2025

Happy Rivals Day, gang! Throughout the celebratory period, there are plenty of events going on. Alongside the ones above, you have the invite-based Rivals Assemble and the Rivals Day countdown which both yield free Units. In total, you can get up to 2,500 free Units for taking part in everything, so get scooping.

Marvel Zombies

Duration: September 12, 2025 – December 5, 2025

Pick one of five heroes from Blade, Jeff, Magik, The Punisher, or Thor to take downtown and fight the undead hordes that await them. Find the Queen of the Dead and take her down to win.

Voyage to Astonish

Duration: September 12, 2025 – November 14, 2025

Voyage to Astonish has you complete missions to gain Lanterns that can be used to move around the board. On the free track, you can pick up a slick new costume for Blade, while the premium track also opens up the means to get the Floral Frights skin for Peni.

Fruit of Immortality (Battle Pass)

Duration: September 12, 2025 – November 14, 2025

The Fruit of Immortality Battle Pass features a proper eclectic mix of cosmetics. Loosely themed around fire and ice, you can get your hands on iconic costumes like Dark Phoenix and Golden Age Captain America, alongside creative new lewks such as Abyssal Glow Luna Snow and Immortal Firebird Loki.

Scroll of the Immortal Beasts

Duration: September 12, 2025 – November 14, 2025

Season 4’s main mission-based event is Scroll of Immortal Beasts. Clear quests, grab sweet loot like Chrono Tokens and smaller cosmetics, and unlock the exquisite Wasteland Robot Ultron skin at the end of the road.

Marvel Rivals Championship S4: Heart of the Dragon

Duration: September 20, 2025 – November 10, 2025

To qualify for the fourth MRC split, you have to reach a minimum rank of Platinum III (up from Gold III in S1) and be part of a faction with six or more members. MRC S4 consists of an open and closed qualifier, before moving onto a double-elimination knockout stage. The top 16 teams draw from a $14,500 prize pool, with the top team taking home $6,000.

Even if you don’t claim glory in MRC S4, you will at least get your mitts on the rather delightful MRC Mighty Hero spray.

Summer Special Vol. 2

Duration: September 18, 2025 – October 17, 2025

Summer may be over, but Rivals isn’t done with it just yet. The Summer Special Vol. 2 reward track brings beachy looks for Human Torch, The Thing (for free), and Mantis; provided you rack up enough exp to clear it, of course.

Shou-Lao’s Blessing

Duration: September 25, 2025 – October 9, 2025

Shou-Lao’s Blessing is a smaller mission event that, crucially, provides another method of getting a Costume Coin that can be redeemed for the likes of Bag-Man Beyond Spider-Man, Vengeance Psylocke, and Trench Coat The Thing. Bangers galore.

Power of the Phoenix (Battle Pass)

Duration: July 11, 2025 – September 12, 2025

Following Season 3’s Phoenix and symbiote themes, the Power of the Phoenix Battle Pass is filled with fiery and gloopy takes on several characters, including Squirrel Girl, Namor, and Groot. Bully Maguire enjoyers should make haste for the black suit Spidey skin ASAP.

Marvel Rivals Championship S3: The Abyss Awakens

Duration: July 7, 2025 – September 8, 2025

To qualify for the third MRC split, you have to reach a minimum rank of Platinum III (up from Gold III in S1) and be part of a faction with six or more members. MRC S3 consists of an open and closed qualifier, before moving onto a double-elimination knockout stage. The top 16 teams draw from a $14,500 prize pool, with the top team taking home $6,000.

Even if you don’t claim glory in MRC S3, you will at least get your mitts on the rather delightful MRC Chronoverse Challenger spray.

Combat Chest

Duration: May 30, 2025 – July 11, 2025

If battle passes are a bit too unwieldy for you and you want a quicker cosmetic hit, then the new Combat Chest system may be more up your alley. For 690 Lattice, you’ll be able to unlock the premium rewards, which culminate in a rather slick-looking Magneto skin that looks like something out of Doom Eternal. If you’re free-to-play, there’s still a super sweet Mr. Fantastic skin in it for you.

Milano Repair Logs

Duration: July 11, 2025 – August 8, 2025

The latest round of ‘clear mission, get rewards’ is here, and this time there’s a pretty slick Symbiote Storm skin in it for ya. Even if the skin isn’t a bit of you, there’s a chunk of Chrono Tokens to scoop up, so it’s still worth completing.

Summer Special

Duration: July 17, 2025 – August 15, 2025

The summer-themed mini-pass is here, and the skins on offer will have you blowing hot and cold. Even if you don’t cough up the cash for the pass, you can at least snag yourself a fire Thor skin, complete with froggy hammer.

Venom’s Bubble Pop

Duration: June 19, 2025 – July 11, 2025

If you have a symbiotic relationship with the color pink, then the new girlypop Venom event is for you – provided you have the cash to unlock its premium track. Venom’s Bubble Pop is, oddly, focused on the big guy, yet its free track (what most will complete) is instead Human Torch-based. It’s a bit of an odd one, but at the very least you do get the Future Foundation Human Torch skin without having to pay a penny.

Cerebro Database II

Duration: May 30, 2025 – June 27, 2025

Everyone’s favorite 3×3 grid bingo event came back, with more missions to complete and goodies to earn. This time around, there was a zesty Hawkeye Binary Arrow skin in it for you.

Marvel Rivals Championship S2: Hellfire Gala

Duration: May 10, 2025 – July 7, 2025

The Flower of Krakoa battle pass promised glitz and glamor galore, as the denizens of the multiverse dolled themselves up for the Hellfire Gala. But you didn’t only find dressed-up versions of Luna Snow and Cloak & Dagger in here, as the Japanese-themed Spider-Oni – an instant inductee into our best Marvel Rivals skins list – and X-Uniform-clad Psylocke and Magik also featured. The latter gave massive My Hero Academia All Might vibes, and we’re so here for it.

Chronovium (Battle Pass rerun)

Duration: May 15, 2025 – May 29, 2025

If you missed out on the Season 0 Battle Pass for whatever reason, you’re in luck. For a limited time, you can snap up the OG pass, which includes one of Hela’s best skins.

Hellfire Gala: Moments

Duration: May 2, 2025 – May 23, 2025

The Hellfire Gala is in full swing, and the Moments event for Season 2 is a three-act event that yields the suave and sophisticated Wolverine Patch skin upon completion. In Act 1, complete missions to reach milestones. In Act 2, collect X-Coins and draw gifts from the Hellfire Trading Company. Finally, close out the Gala by voting for your Gala star.

Cerebro Database

Duration: April 11, 2025 – May 9, 2025

It’s bingo time, compadres, as the Cerebro Database event has you completing missions to form lines in a 3×3 grid. Should you get a full house of all four event sections, a swanky Flora Maiden Mantis skin is in it for you.

Play Matches, Earn Rewards

Duration: April 11, 2025 – April 25, 2025

Probably the easiest free Epic skin you’ll ever earn in Marvel Rivals, the Play Matches, Earn Rewards event requires you to play just nine games to snag yourself the Chaos Gown Scarlet Witch skin. Pure chaos guaranteed.

Darkhold (Battle Pass)

The Darkhold Battle Pass ran from January 10, 2025, until April 11, 2025.

Marvel Rivals’ first full-length battle pass brought with it some suitably Castlevanian cosmetics for some of the multiverse’s finest. In return for offering your blood, sweat, tears, and more blood, you were able to pick up some pretty slick skins for the likes of Loki, Scarlet Witch, and Wolverine.’

Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure

Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure ran from March 7, 2025, until April 11, 2025.

Galacta returned with a brand new game for us to play. By racking up Power Cosmic from event missions – most of which revolved around the LTM mode Clone Rumble – you could roll the dice and advance around the board, hoovering up rewards, including a yeehaw-coded Black Widow skin.

Marvel Rivals Championship Season 1: Eternal Night Falls

Season 1 of the MRC ran from January 16, 2025, to April 7, 2025.

To qualify for the second MRC split, you had to reach a minimum rank of Gold III (up from Silver III in S0) and be part of a faction with six or more members. MRC S1 consisted of an open and closed qualifier, before it moved onto a double-elimination knockout stage. The top 16 teams drew from a $11,900 prize pool, with the top team taking home $6,000.

Midnight Features II

The Midnight Features II event ran from February 21, 2025, to  March 21, 2025.

Midnight Features returned for a second round, and the chapter-based event was more of what we already experienced with its predecessor. This time, you snagged a free Groot skin when you finished the collection.

Fortune & Colors

The Fortune & Colors event ran from January 23, 2025, to February 14, 2025.

Lunar New Year celebrations were in full flow, and the Fortune & Colors event had you earn paint from the limited-time game mode, Clash of Dancing Lions (a Lucioball-like), that could subsequently be used to complete the illustration.

Showing off your sporting prowess yielded currency, cosmetics, and a fur-ocious new Star-Lord skin. Or is it Star-Lion?

Midnight Features

The first Midnight Features event ran from January 10, 2025, to February 7, 2025.

With a Draculean invasion on our hands, business is booming for the Daily Bugle. Midnight Features Part One followed the same format as Season 0’s Entangled Moments in that you had to clear chapter-based missions, with new chapters opening up every couple of days.

In return for your efforts, you were rewarded with currency, Gallery Cards, and even a fresh new Thor skin.

Winter Celebration

The Winter Celebration event ran until Thursday, January 5, 2025. During the event, you could take part in a special Splatoon-esque game mode called ‘Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival.’ This had teams of Jeffs battling to decorate the Rivals maps with their colored spray – chaos ensued.

You could also pick up new costumes for Groot, Magik, Rocket, Venom, and Jeff himself. Best of all, Jeff’s could be earned by gathering Golden Frost from missions and decorating the tree on your Winter Celebration Card, so it didn’t cost you a penny. His lil snowsuit features on our list of the best Marvel Rival skins, so we were festively feasting.

Entangled Moments

Entangled Moments was the main Marvel Rivals event for Season 0, and ran until Thursday, January 2, 2025. During the event, you had to complete specific missions set by each of the five event tiles to unlock each one’s story beat and Gallery Card.

Marvel Rivals Championship Season 0: Doom’s Rise

The inaugural Marvel Rivals Championship (MRC) circuit concluded on Sunday, January 5, and 4am / 7am GMT on Monday, January 6, 2025.

To qualify for the tournament you had to reach a minimum rank of Silver III and also be part of a faction with six or more members. MRC consists of an open and closed qualifier, before moving onto a double-elimination knockout stage. The top 16 teams drew from a $14,500 prize pool, with the top team taking home $6,000.

Galacta’s Quest

Galacta’s quest was a battle pass-like event that ran throughout the Marvel Rivals closed beta. It rewarded players for ranking up and gaining XP with cosmetics, sprays, and an exclusive closed beta Cyan Clash Venom skin for those able to advance to the end.

War of The Realms

War of The Realms was a 6v6 competition that ran until August 4, 2024. There were four regions available to join: North America, Europe, Asia, and a dedicated console realm. There was a $15,000 prize pool available for the winners, with the top 32 factions receiving permanent titles and the top eight receiving exclusive nameplates.
