If you know the Meccha Chameleon max players count then you can plan a session of painting hide-and-seek that involves your entire group of friends, as long as there’s not too many of them. The game has been taking the internet by storm with over a million copies sold already, which means there are currently lots of players looking to get involved. To find out how many of them can be accommodated on each server, here’s the lowdown on the max players for Meccha Chameleon.
What is the maximum number of players for Meccha Chameleon?
Currently the Meccha Chameleon max players count is 24, as this is the highest number the host can set it to when creating a server, however this does come with some caveats. The developers recommend selecting 2-10 players for an optimal experience, and while they say that anything up to 13 players should run stably, if you choose to set the max player count between 14 and 24 then there’s no guarantee it will work – the experience everyone gets at those higher player counts will depend largely on the host’s CPU and connection speed.
I therefore recommend you stay within the developers’ suggestion of 2-10 player, initially at least, then if you want to experiment with a higher max player count then increase it gradually until you either reach your target or the game stops functioning correctly. It’s worth noting that however many players you have in a server, only one will be the initial hunter who will then infect others to join them as they’re caught, until the time runs out or all chameleons are turned into hunters.
