Subnautica 2 ingots are processed variants of common materials that are used in more advanced crafting recipes (much like their counterpart from the original game). Once you start making vehicles or superior crafting machinery, you’re going to need titanium, plasteel, and germanium ingots, among others.
Unlike the first game, though, ingots cannot be crafted in your standard fabricator, and you’ll need to build a processor in order to produce them. If you’re unsure, here’s more on how to get titanium ingots and others in Subnautica 2.
How to craft ingots in Subnautica 2
To craft ingots in Subnautica you’ll need to build a processor 2. A processor can be built using your Subnautica 2 Habitat Builder, using 2x titanium, a copper wire, and a bottle of mild acid, so it’s pretty light on resources.
By this point, you probably already have the processor blueprint, but if for any reason you don’t, you need to scan the broken processor unit inside the Old Habitat, which is located 37 meters north of the lifepod.
How to get every ingot in Subnautica 2
Here’s what you’ll need to craft every ingot in Subnautica 2:
- Titanium ingot: 3x titanium
- Copper ingot: 3x copper
- Silver ingot: 3x silver
- Gold ingot: 3x gold
- Germanium ingot: 2x silver or 2x lead
- Plasteel ingot: 2x titanium and 1x lithium
If you’re struggling to find any of those resources, we might be able to help you with our guides to finding Subnautica 2 silver and Subnautica 2 lead. Most of the others, including titanium, are found easily around the spawn area. A processor is also required to craft strong acid in Subnautica 2, among other things, so it’s a useful piece of machinery to have.
