Nintendo only just announced its own Switch 2 price increases, but it’s taking to the airwaves with some more positive news today. The brand is releasing a new choose-your-own bundle with game options including Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Pokemon Pokopia – all coming in at $499.99 with the console itself.
We’re essentially getting two more options in the mix – the Mario Kart package was available from day one but has been particularly difficult to find in stock as of late. It was only a matter of time before Nintendo capitalized on the massive system seller that was Pokopia, and with these Nintendo Switch bundles holding the same price as previous offers things are looking sweet.
There’s just one question on everyone’s lips, though. What’s going to happen in September. A June timeframe means these Switch 2 offers will have a maximum of three months to enjoy their discounts before Ninty ups the rate of a Switch 2 by itself (currently $449.99) to $499.99. After that, it’s going to be pretty difficult to keep these packages (and their then-completely-free games) on the shelves.
Whether they simply fade into the sunset or see their own price increase up to $549 remains to be seen. Until that fateful day arrives, then, this is going to be the bundle to beat.
We’re also rounding up all the best Nintendo Switch 2 accessories to kit out your new system, including the best Nintendo Switch 2 controllers and best Nintendo Switch headsets.
