Grab a free The Traveller skin in Fortnite when you buy Cronos The New Dawn

Crossover events are continuing to come thick and fast in Fortnite, and Cronos: The New Dawn is the latest game to get its own skin in the battle royale game. Whether you’re a fan of Bloober Team’s 2025 horror game, or simply want to look more threatening than the likes of Homer Simpson or Sabrina Carpenter when dropping in, you can pick up the skin now.

The new skin can be picked up in the Fortnite Shop tab for 1,500 V-Bucks, but there’s a way to get it for free, too. Players who purchase Cronos: The New Dawn on the Epic Games Store after Tuesday, April 21 will receive the skin for free. It’ll be tied to your Epic Games account, so you’ll just need to log into your Fortnite account to see it pop up for you to equip.

If you have purchased the game before now, or on another platform, you will not get the skin for free and will have to buy it with V-Bucks if you’d like to use it. The skin is quite different, too, with its description reading: “The Traveler Outfit in Fortnite carries all her characteristic features from Cronos: The New Dawn, including her helmet, armor, and gun, the Sword MK-1615.”

Piotr Babieno, CEO of Bloober Team, spoke about how excited the studio behind Silent Hill 2 Remake is about the new Fortnite collab. He said, “Collaborating with Fortnite gave us a unique opportunity to place our Traveler in a world that contrasts with our roots… We’re proud to bring a distinctly darker presence into such a vibrant universe and to be among the few Polish studios – including Bloober Team – to have a main protagonist featured in Fortnite. We hope our fans enjoy this epic crossover, and we can’t wait to see Travelers dropping into Fortnite.”
