Capcom seems very aware that it’s gone three-for-three this year with back to back banger releases Resident Evil Requiem, Monster Hunter Stories 3, and Pragmata, and it also seems pretty darn confident that its next game coming out this year, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, will live up to the expectations it’s set by doing so.
In a new Bluesky post, Capcom USA acknowledges its stellar string of releases with a composite image showing title cards for the above-mentioned games, grayed out with an “out now” banner in front. The only one not grayed out is Onimusha: Way of the Sword, which is due out this year but doesn’t have a specific release date just yet. “We’re not done with 2026 yet,” reads the caption.

We had the chance to go hands-on with the action-adventure game late last year and came away impressed. “Amid the throng of best FromSoftware games and the many Souls-inspired games like Elden Ring, Onimusha: Way of the Sword is a welcome breath of fresh-yet-paradoxically-familiar air,” wrote GR’s James Daly, who noted that the game is “a third-person action-adventure set in a dark world full of danger” and “not really challenging from a combat perspective,” just in case you were hoping for something similar to, say Sekiro.
