The Starfield Moon Jumper is a vehicle that was added as part of the Free Lanes update, and if you can find it somewhere out in the galaxy, then you can get it for free! And considering that the Moon Jumper is probably the best vehicle in Starfield right now, especially for exploration, it’s definitely worth getting one for yourself. If you want to know where to look, I’ll explain how to find the Moon Jumper, but be warned: there’s a fair amount of randomization involved.
For more, take a look at everything new that was added as part of the Starfield Free Lanes update.
Moon Jumper location in Starfield

The Moon Jumper is located at the Defunct Broadcasting Station, which is a randomly occurring point of interest that has a chance to spawn every time you land on a random world or moon in the local area.

Once you reach the Defunct Broadcasting Station, there’ll be Spacer bandits. However, parked in a garage outside the main station, you’ll find the Moon Jumper, a white and orange buggy with an enclosed cockpit.

Simply get into the Moon Jumper and from that point on it’ll automatically be added to your list of accessible vehicles for the rest of the game, with you able to customize and select it for free from any Ship Services Tech in the galaxy. You do not need to have bought the Vehicle Bay or any other vehicle previously to find the Moon Jumper.
Where to find the Defunct Broadcasting Station

The Defunct Broadcasting Station is a randomly occurring point of interest that, at time of writing, can appear on any planet or moon. To find it, you simply need to land on a world to explore and check the surface map nearby to see if it’s shown (marked with square, bunker-like icon).

If you can’t find it, the only option is to basically keep randomly trying to trigger it by landing over and over again in different spots to essentially reroll the dice on nearby POIs each time. I personally found it on the planet Hawking I, but there’s plenty of accounts online of players finding the Defunct Broadcasting Station and Moon Jumper on all manner of different worlds.
